TOEFL
TOEFL courses in this Institute, contrary to some other
institutes which consider and introduce TOEFL courses as
advanced English studies, are merely for those who intend
to continue their academic studies abroad. In fact, the
only application of the TOEFL exam certificate is to obtain
admission from foreign universities where they use English
as the medium of communication. The TOEFL is constructed
and administered by the ETS (Educational Testing Services)
for non-English speakers throughout the world who wish to
be admitted into an English speaking university. The exam’s
format, as well as its scoring system, has gone through
changes for the past few decades, especially the past recent
years. The TOEFL is given every day in ETS centers all around
the world and a few times a year in Iran. It is given in two
forms: iBT (Internet-Based Test) and PBT (Paper-Based Test).
The iBT Toefl evaluates candidates’ knowledge and skills
through testing their listening, reading, speaking and writing
abilities in ways different from the PBT. The PBT is made up of
four sections: Listening, Structure, Reading and Writing.
The TOEFL score is valid for two years.
Covering all the above-mentioned skills, Bavar Faraz manages
to prepare learners to obtain their desired scores in the
shortest possible time. Having taken a placement test, the
new learners will learn about the number of sessions needed
to get their desired scores. For further information on the
TOEFL, visit www.toefl.org or www.ets.org/toefl.
